Arden Carmichael Council 4970 in Carmichael donated more than $2,000 to members of St. Thomas More Council 7773 in Paradise, who had lost most of their possessions in the Camp Fire wildfire. Council 4970 raised the funds from member donations and its 2018 Christmas party.
